Negative, I got my Nexus this year as a PR. You must have 3 years of permanent residence though and of course be allowed into the US through a Visa or ETA depending on your nationality.

This is a bad scam. You should have not send them any of your documents. You should have consulted someone first. Don't send any money this kind of thing simply does not exist. All the best.

My wife applied for closed WP after being nominated by the province of Ontario. We applied August 19 and haven't heard nothing yet. She's on implied status since September 25 unable to renew her health card or leave the country since she's not from a visa exempt country
