Medicals are good for only 1 year. After that you have to do them again. And also if you are applying for a Visa other than the one you did the Medicals for.

I am September 2012 applicant and received my AOR yesterday. But when i check the application status at cic.gc.ca using my File#, It doesn't show anything? How much time it takes to show the status at eCAS? Peter

This is an AOR !!! There are no seperate emails for AOR and File number. If you want to clarify further, please look into other monthly forums and you will see that this is the AOR document. Cheers !!! Peter
