For my case, I didn't receive any AOR email but I can find my application status on ECAS and link my account. I talked with an agent and turned out that due to technical reasons, they may have sent AOR to my previous representative's email account which was used to apply for my study permit.

Are you using any representative? Or did you use it for other applications, e.g. study/work permit? You can try to find your status on https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/introduction.do?app=ecas and then talk to an IRCC agent about your case.

I just linked my account on GC key. And I can see the application number from there. Thank you!

AR is May 11, and I haven't received AOR in my email, but I can check my status on ECAS (online tool). It says "We started processing your application on November 26, 2020." Anyone else has the same suitation? BCPNP inland, no representative.

Yeah, I feel if we receiving AOR for applications arrived after March 5 (or after the first week of March), then they are really making new progress.

AOR means they have opened your files and checked that no file is missing, so the processing time should start after AOR.

Where did you hear that? We did not see any updates for AOR here. If it is confirmed, then it is absolutely a good thing, Thanks for sharing

About 5 months now, so at least half year to get AOR based on recent situations

It is common to receive PAL first. My friend got AOR last year July and PAL last December but still has no MR yet. I believe MR is one of the last few things unless you are doing an upfront medical exam.
