JUNE 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Someone in either this thread or another thread said that after going through the Immigration lane after landing, there was a small booth/table that handled SIN applications. You may want to look into this as it would be pretty convenient! Also just speaking from personal opinion, if you have a...

CEM = Canadian Embassy Manila. The email is the same as the sender ng AoR2 email. You can request for GCMS notes through http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-atip.asp or http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/atip/requests-personal.asp From what I understand, GCMS notes are...

JUNE 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Hi A, have you tried typing in "2" in the number of individuals in application? That is if your spouse is sponsoring only you. The spouse is included in the count.

I just did kasi ngayon lang namin naisipan na maybe the sponsor's PSA birth certificate wasn't included in the document checklist. Ayun, it wasn't nga. We were very confident kasi that our application was complete. A consultant even looked at it and double checked na complete lahat. :( Now ko...

*NEW* MANILA VISA OFFICE Philippines SPOUSE/FAMILY TIMELINE

According to other people, mas detailed daw ang MyCIC? For me naman the difference is MyCIC gumagana, eCAS hindi :P

Linking MyCIC account to PR application

I thought so too! With the Manila visa office though, they're requiring the sponsor's birth certificate as well, which wasn't included in the original document checklist. It was only in the AoR2 email, which was confusing. :(

Linking MyCIC account to PR application

I got AoR2 last August 10 this year, but only successfully linked my application in late October. Long story short, tried several times but only succeeded after doing the "2" trick. My question now is, would I have missed any communication during that 2 month window where my application wasn't...

Kami we included RPRF na but di ata kami nakapag submit ng PSA birth certificate ng sponsor kasi wala sa list of original requirements. Pero since nag AoR2 nung August 10 wala pa kaming natanggap na communication from VO and walang nakalagay sa MyCIC na additional documents requested :(

Yun nga eh, never sila nag e-mail. Nalaman ko lang na in process na ang background check nung nalink ko na finally yung application. :( nagtaka ako bakit ang tagal na walang communication since nag SA.

Haha medyo cheap kami kaya we opted to do the free one, yung under the Privacy Act yata! Sana dumating narin GCMS notes natin para medyo mawalan din ng anxiety.

Mine is taking a while din. June applicant pero late October ko lang nalink ang application ko sa MyCIC and in progress na since then. So di ko lang sure since when pa naging in process yung akin. Straightforward app din pero siguro since bagong kasal lang this year, dun sila nagtataka?

Go for it! Basta may kakilala ka na PR or citizen in Canada, they can request for it on your behalf. Libre naman :P tatagal din eh just found out baka mga 1 month pa bago dumating yung GCMS notes result.

Oh wow, I ordered mine just 5 days ago. It did say on the website that they're dealing with a lot of requests. They also did say that the notes I'm asking for can be easily and quickly requested. Hoping yours arrive soon!

30 days is a reasonable amount of time. And here I was worried that they'd allot just 2 weeks. Thank you!! I can rest easy now. :)

JUNE 2016 - OUTLAND SPOUSAL APPLICANTS

Hi everyone! June applicant as well here, Manila VO. Question for those who've gotten their PPR: is there a due date by when you should submit your passport by, and how much time do they give you? I'm just worried because the PPR request might coincide with a trip with my family abroad. :(...
