Tier 5 YMS in UK Wanting to Bring British Commonlaw to Canada?

You would most certainly want to have sponsorship approval before he comes as a visitor but he will not be able to work at all, why I suggested the possibility of the other visas? see link about dual intent...

My now husband will be returning with me as a visitor with duel intent. Our application was received Dec 15 2014 As long...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Some people do not find or post on this this forum until well after submitting their application and unfortunately the data collected would never be accurate to how many people submitted their application in any month or year due to the fact that not everyone finds this site or has access to it...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

I am a Canadian in the UK on a working holiday visa, it was dead easy application, it's a points based visa, you you have to be btw 18-30 years old and have no dependants, then you have to goto do a biometric scan which took about two weeks to get an appointment and then they send the...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

I know that obviously not every person in the world is on the spread sheet but it makes even me feel better that they seemed to not send so many during July and August into London, fingers crossed for you they swiftly get through those months x

Can I enter Canada while immigration visa is processing

Not an expert on this question but yes you can "visit" Canada for 6 months as you are Australian. I have read on other websites that you should have a return ticket or proof of funds that you can purchase a return ticket. We will most likely not have approval before my UK visa runs out so before...

    Separation certificate

You cannot legally be married again if your divorce has not be finalized (OP should be common law). But you CAN be legally separated. There isn't a rule that the applicant has to be legally divorced to be in a common law relationship.... It does say on the check list: If you had previous...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Thank you all of you for your responses! We were able to finally get on with your helpful FAQ, I wasn't sure if there was anything different on the PA side but now I know! ;DAnd thank you Andrew for the extra about how long it took to get to London.

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Just a quick question. Should the PA be able to get on ECAS or are we still waiting for "that" email? Thought we would have heard something about the file arriving in London but have come to find there is not such a notification.

    CPP-Ottawa

Oh dear! I won't get worked up about this yet but that was the only thing I was worried about for our application! And I thought since I was approved as sponsor that I was in the clear LOL - the only proof I have is that my UK Visa expires and there is no way of extending or changing it so I...

I thought proof of return was supposed to be for Sponsor? If you have been approved as sponsor why are they asking you for this? Now I am worried that I will get asked this! :o

How long between AOR and SA usually?

Hey Jonesy Are we supposed to hear when the applications get to London? It's been almost a month since SA approval. Ecas hasn't changed at all on my end. Also something I noticed on the spread sheet was that during the months of July and August barely any (5) applications went to London. I...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

I am not arguing at all?? I just think that you are incorrect on this one occasion. It clearly states on the website they will request the fee if a favourable decision has been made. Why would they request the fee if they were going to deny? Plus her application is in Mississauga, which means...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

This is straight off the website - which is why I thought otherwise: The principal applicant and accompanying spouse or common‑law partner must pay the right of permanent residence fee (RPRF). These fees must be paid before the visa is issued if a favourable decision is made. This fee can be...

Thread for Outland LONDON, UK Applications!

Please correct me if I am wrong but if the application was incomplete and they weren't going forward the CIC would have not requested the RFPF fee? You must pay this fee before CIC issues the PM visa. It is not mandatory to pay this up front but is better to because it will delay your application.

    DECEMBER 2014 - OUTLAND Applicants

I disagree, from the UK spread sheet there is a pattern of the PA being located in Canada apart from a few lucky ones like yourself. Obviously without knowing everyone's individual situation we will not know for sure. To be honest I thought my application was straight forward and it went to...
