I think you should email them, leave the subject field as they wrote it but add to it in the beginning "Urgent"; explain the wrong immigration file number and name, and wait for their instructions. Good Luck!!!

Elie, don't worry about what he said because a lot of people already took their visas in less than a year so what hes saying is based on hearsay. People talk a lot but it doesn't mean that what they are saying is accurate. Just completely ignore his speech.

Like I told marwah, the main problem that we are facing is that there is no clear waiting time, some people have gotten their visas in under a year, while others have been waiting for more than 16 months. There is no way to communicate with them, even with emails as they hardly respond to them.

Unfortunately marwah, nobody has a clue about any kind of timeframe. We are all equally clueless!
