what does it mean if it just says decision made on sponsor side?

that is horrible :( hard not to get extremely frustrated by this whole process I can't even get through to an agent, but I guess it is a waste of time anyways as you experienced

I guess we shouldn't feel too bad then but at that rate we will be finished our PR at the end of 2018 :O still no news here, we are April 2016 applicant waiting and waiting, still hoping to be done before the end of 2017 but seeing that post now I am feeling less hopeful :(

yes, multiple times, never get through, and the recording is just a duplicate of what is already online......... still processing background check........ going on middle of September now, I am now really 99.9% doubting this will be done by the end of 2017 :( (April 2016 applicant)

got Decision made on Sponsor side but not on Applicant side, got the letter months ago and since then nothing at all. have never had any "waiting for documents" or any problems at all with the application or anything like that, everything was submitted properly and smoothly a year and a half...

exactly, until we have full landing, there is still an uncertainty in the backs of our minds, what if the process fails and they tell us "no", and we have to quit our jobs and move to a far away country where we might not be able to earn a living, leaving our home country of Canada just to stay...

yes exactly, and since then everything seems to have ground to a halt. Did they take the agents that were working on our months and reassign them to illegal border jumper processing duty or something?? Don't understand how it can even be possible for those 2017 applicants to have processed...

that is really depressing to hear, is it really true? excuses are excuses, but it seems some are being rushed through that jumped the queue, while many of us from a long time ago maybe just got dumped in a pile on someone's desk and are getting ignored :(

we are April 2016 applicant and so far almost 17 months waiting so maybe 9 months more processing for us if they hold to that 26 months, it is a long frustrating wait

I understand how it is such a frustrating worry. We are April 2016 applicant and hoping CIC finishes us before 2018 too. The way it is going I really am starting to doubt it :(

it just says "Decision Made" on the sponsor side, and "application received" on the applicant side, but we got that letter (I don't even know if that is AIP for sure, it doesn't say anything like that to confirm approval). it has been 3 months since we got that and since then zero

when I click on "Decision Made" it then gives me 3 lines as above, no 4th line. So are you saying that they lied about the "Decision Made"? Or just that they didn't bother to send correspondence? this process is very depressing, I have images of sitting in front of the computer on New Years...
