Almost same timeline.I received correspondence to re-send Schedule A on January 18.

I am in the exact same situation.Hoping to get PPR faster.

Actually you have 90 days to apply for restoration from the moment of refusal.Then you can stay in Canada until you get a result from them.This means more than 5 months as the processing times for work permit+restoration takes longer than a normal application.You can't work in the meantime though.

Did CIC request to submit a new Schedule A-Background declaration when you were in restoration? You have no idea how helpful is your answer.I'm still waiting for both PPR and Work permit/restoration.

Was only your restoration approved or you applied for work permit also?

I applied for restoration on November 18,2015.No answer from them yet.From the date of the restoration application i received medical and CIC asked me to update Schedule A as there was a gap in the work permit status.I wrote in the schedule A that i'm in Canada currently waiting for work permit...
