Thanks for the update. But I am not sure if we can count on what is being told to people at interviews. They were proven to be wrong many times. I just looked it up, there are 6 oath ceremonies in London in August and I don't think there are truly significant number of applicants in London area...

Sorry Hattoba! I meant it was received on July 30th. If the test is scheduled for September 11th, it is too early to get the invitation. A bit more patience and it will come. I know it is hard to keep calm though! o_O;)

Well, you sent you app on July 30th so you are more an August applicant than a July. Considering the current processing time in London (14-15 months), taking the test in Sept. wouldn't be too bad. Let's hope it goes smooth from this point and we get our passports by the end of this year. Fingers...

Confirmation of PR is an important document. You will need that regardless of having the citizenship status. It proves your date of landing in Canada for future purposes.

I applied in August, In Process since November and nothing since then! My visa office is London. London is by far the slowest office I have ever seen! It is frustrating to see ppl who applied after you have already received their passport!

Hi Yezdi, I don't think marriage certificate is required for the interview as getting citizenship is not based on being married or single, whatsoever! What is your timeline BTW? Are you invited for the interview?
