    COPR and coronavirus

Sorry, but if I can correctly recollect, It's always been a friend's friend who got the travel authorization letter. We haven't found a single active direct friend on this forum (from India) who has received it.

Traveling/Flights to Canada from India during COVID 19

Hi All, looking at the inactivity in the group, it seems that those who have/had valid Visas/permits/CoPRs have already reached Canada or have planned their trip. It seems most of the rest of us are waiting for extensions on our expired Visas.

Dear Client, Thank you for your e-mail. Clients with expired Confirmation of Permanent Residence (COPR) documents remain a priority. However, there have been many service disruptions due to the COVID-19 pandemic. If you have not already done so, please submit documents supporting...

I raised the Ready to Travel webform yesterday both to IRCC and NDVO. No updates from IRCC. COPR and coronavirus

Comparing the CoPR extension letter shared by @13nitinsharma with @Lachelle's, it seems the respective VOs are giving 60 days from the date of issue to use the travel authorization letter.

    COPR and coronavirus

Terrible news, VACs in India to remain closed till August. They donot seem to have any timelines and it is hard to believe anything they say now. Gosh, I was so excited that they were asking COPR expired to apply via webform and then the next day they drop this on us.

"once we have assessed whether travel exemptions have been met" - This part suggests it's a generic response either by a bot or a service staff who is not empowered to take decisions on your case. Else, all your case information is out there to determine your eligibility easily and they could...
