So I couldn't get an upfront medical, and last week I received the request for medical. I did it on Friday and now my application has been updated saying I passed the medical. Yay, an update. In normal times, how much time after a passed (requested) medical would you ideally get a decision...

So if I received a medical request I won't receive AIP soon? Thought approval in principle didn't require Medical exam..

Not yet, I have until August 24 to pay my tuition. After that, I'll have to defer as well. I've just done my medical but not biometrics.

How do you know if eligibility review has started? I I haven’t received an update but it says “we are reviewing whether you meet the eligibility requirements”. That’s it?

I applied from Peru in May 27, missing biometrics (closed VFS) and medical (only accepting post biometrics consultations). Needless to say, I'm beyond relieved about this approved in principle thing, but I'm still slightly worried I won't receive it by August 20, when my tuition is due. Anyone...

Anyone knows if it's worth applying (for the permit) right now if my country is in obligatory lockdown, including VFS for biometrics and the centre for the medical exam? I'm not sure how much time I have to submit those things, nor when my country's lockdown will be lifted. I'm still not sure...

Hi, I've been accepted to Capilano University for fall, and now (despite everything..) I'm preparing my application for CIC. I already have most of the required documents (POF, SOP, etc), but I'm wondering what else could I add to make my application stronger? I have a relatively difficult case...

I don't think they're able to divide FSW from CEC and PNP since they're both included and eligible to FSW.

As far as I know, FST is always included. However, they make FST-only draws because most applicants in that stream have lower-than-usual scores (300-400). So, sadly, if there's a reason why the draw size has increased, it's most likely because there will be a FST draw soon.

Anyone knows (predicts) how late would you need to get AOR in order to complete the whole process and land this year? Maybe May? Landing in December??

Any chance for 465 before May? Lost 5 points last Sunday. Next TEF is on April and results will take a month, so will be stuck at 465 until May or June. Maxed out everything else, NOC 1123.
