Sometimes I think when they request additional documents together with your passport, it delays a bit because they have to review them.

I sent them an email yesterday to confirm if they indeed have my package from DHL because my 15days elapse in two days time, but as usual there was an automated response. So hopefully since you had an update it means they have mine as well and I still working.

Yes it's the sponsor that can contact the MPs office in his or her area to look into the application after it has exceeded the 12months processing time.

It's a good thing. It will surely reduce the processing times. Sometime applicants find it difficult to even upload it via their online account, I had difficulties uploading mine so I ended up mailing them via DHL to Mississauga before my file was shipped to Accra.

Oh okay good. I think you now need a lot of patience as your next correspondence will be a medical request which obviously will take 5 months for them to send the request, that is if nothing changes
