Thanks. I suppose they do require to biometrics to submit at some point (when IRCC asks for) because biometrics collection started I think in Nov 2018 and they have had a visit or visa before that.

@robertp , is it ok to not get biometrics req and have PR app status in progress. My parents have a visitor visa and they were in Canada from Dec 2017 to May 2018. ?

Hi Fellow PGP sponsors, I applied on May 21 for my parents PR. Parents are currently in India but are thinking of visiting in the next little while. For sure they will wait for the biometrics to be completed in India first, but just a rough guess how much time does it takes to get to PPR after...
