we applied for TRV in September 2020 and now both PR and TRV are in Submitted state.. no update on both of the applications!! really testing our patience...

We applied in July and received it in September.. there was not extra info than what we were already know from calling cic., our application was showing as received at Mississauga in August., after that no update !!

The wait time is horrible...10 months really seems like 10 years... even though the normal processing time was 12 months, earlier to Covid most of the applications were approved soon.. these days are so awful and the stress of the process is too high... going through really tough time of panic...

Not seeing any updates from profiles with PA Indian... our VO is Mississauga, still no updates on it..

I have seen biometrics asked for second time for few people earlier also... mostly it would be asked when Biometrics given was not clear or some other wrong info shared to them.. Its better to provide it soon as they may put the application on hold until it is provided...

It’s better to apply for visitor record before expiry of your TRV to secure your future visits to Canada.. one thing you can do is to apply for visitor record to the end of TRV.. maybe like 1 or 2 weeks to expiry.. then your status will go to implied status and you can legally stay in Canada...

No.. it’s not mandatory to receive email.. in gckey, there won’t be any change for ghost updates..

In my understanding, Visitor records are normally issued for extra 6 months (normal allowed time for visit visa). But if you have genuine reasons for extended stay, you can ask for that ....like health issues for travelling, pregnancy, even Covid. Its better to Keep a LOE with your application...

Hi all, I want to apply for visit Visa extension for my parents. Their visa will get expired soon. I saw that we should apply for visit visa extension atleast 30 days before expiry. Now I have only 20+ days to expiry. Will that be a problem ? Will the application get rejected for this reason ?
