please read the below which I took it from vfs website. Passport Transmission Services If you have received notification from the Government of Canada requesting your passport, your passport along with the passport request letter may be submitted through the Canada Visa Application...

congos u just got ur visa buddy.. all they are asking is to furnish ur passport so they can stamp/pin the visa on ur passport... hope u got my point
