Hi, I did my Med upfront in Oct 2015. I checked my Ecas today and it shows 2. Medical result has been received. So, could anyone tell me what does that mean? Is that SA or AIP? What's the next step after that? Many thanks!!

Today I'm able to check my application status online, but only use either the application # + my last name or my own UCI + my last name. The sponsor (my husband)'s UCI doesn't work. Thanks for letting me know. So far it only shows that they've received my application. Now start to count...

I am curious too! My husband and I submitted the application two months after. I doubt if they would screen applicants based on the time of their marriage? However, it seem to me that the CIC has no rhythm. It's more likely that the time internal which you sent out your application dominates...

I just got my AOR today. I've seen people who applied between Dec. 2015 and Apr. 2016 got their AORs ahead of me. I've been waiting more than 6 months to merely get the AOR. What can I say? I wrote two complaints on CIC website and hopefully someone had paid attention to the issue I addressed...

BTW, do you think by chance that the CIC has processed our applications (Oct. to Nov. 2015 applications) already but just forgot to send us the AOR sooner? I can't believe that many applications sent between Sep.15-Sep. 30, 2015 already got their DM (Decision Made)...Why there is so much time...

WoW, I'm thrilled to hear that! Congratulations! Is there anything special with your case or it's simply because of good luck as you submitted your application between Mid-Sept. to the end of Sept? I noticed that many applicants who applied within this time interval got approved real fast.

I didn't apply for OWP b/c I'm on my own OWP now. However, I'll have to apply one when it expires later this year. That's why I was anxious, because if I don't have the AOR, I can't apply for a spousal OWP. :(

Hi there, does anyone noticed that on the spreadsheet, applications submitted between Oct. and Nov. 15 were stagnated partially b/c of the Syrian Refugee? CIC needed more staff to deal with their applications in priority. However, after that, CIC didn't continue with OCT. and NOV. applications...

Does anyone who applied in Nov. 2015 got their AOR? I'm still waiting and it's almost 4 months...Very angry and sad :(
