How i wish i understand the criteria used. Y will oct/nov/dec 2017 applicants get ppr before sept folks? Anyone with a reasonable answer?

Called CIC yesterday the lady i spoke with said my file is fine hence i should expect PR in march. Fingers crossed. Sept 28 2017 applicant. Fingers crossed!

I think we all get our ppr when we get it! I called cic, an agent told me my file is fine. That all I have to do is to wait till April/May before my ppr can be issued!

The agent did not want to give me much information, he just said my file is fine. said he cannot give me information about security or my background status because it's not passed 19months yet. But i should be assured i will get PPR April/May 2019.

Just called CIC regarding my application status. The agent I spoke with said all he can say is that my file is fine. And that since i am still within the 19months window, I should prepare to become a permanent residence latest by April/May next year! Nothing much, but at least I can plan!

Can you please share your time line from AOR to DM received.

That's the name of the officer that sent it. They use agent as Opposed to using officer. Nothing to worry about.

Processing time is 19months. It may be less or more than 19months. Just have to hope it comes soon. My timeline is almost the same with yours.

Oh great!Saw an update on my GCkey account today. It reads you passed the medical exam. I guess my PPR should be out soon.
