You cant call anyone ask to your DD status, you might be knowing the person who who dealt your case or the Branch manager, so call that guy and ask him that " Sir, i've taken a DD of some XXXXX from ur Bank, i want to know whether the DD is encashed or not". FOr sure they will respond and give...

you can call you bank ask them to let you know the DD status, then they will send an internal mail of them selves( their internal) and let you knw in 2 working days for sure.. this is what i did to know my DD status.. :) :) :)
