No new updates, no bio no medical request. And also I cannot check the status online nor link application.

Hi, have you been able to link your application or check your status via the status tool? I applied in June, got AOR Sep. No request for BIO nor Medical. I cannot check status online. Only way is to call to check status, at the moment.

Hi! I logged in to my account Sunday and it was updated, my eligibility review had started. No e-mails. Logged in Yesterday, no changes, logged in now and new update. Approved, myself, spouse and child. No e-mails. Yours will come soon! Best of luck everyone

Anybody from April still waiting like me?

I just spoke with them this morning. The agent said that now I have past 2 days from the processing time and she sent an email to the officer requesting to speed up my process. However she said it could take up to 2 weeks for them to answer. And if I did not hear back in two weeks to call again.

Did you apply with Family at the same time? And did you ask them to escalate or just check status?

When I called them and asked if was going to take longer because of dependents on the application they said no. Because the same officer that gets my application will assess the other at the same time. I guess they just don’t like to deal with multou applications and are procrastinating lol

I had the same question before as I applied for PGWP and PR. Since your PR application is not approved, I would still show ties to my home country and explain to the officer that I would return at the end on my "legal" status. And, of course, disclose that you have a pending PR application...

It is hard to say. If you have financial resources, I would wait until getting a permanent offer or at least 1 year contract to apply for SOWP. Unless, based on your current assets you can convince the officer that you can maintain yourself and your family (even dependents not here in Canada)...
