If they have any doubt, they will either send you a letter or call your employer to verify.

as far as I know, they do consider it. But I do not think it will be the main reason to reject someone.

As long as your employer can make a logical explanation on why he has hired you.

I thought the CEC program does not have a specific requirement for the salary, as long as it makes sense..

it said my salary appears to be low and my employment is not logical progression from my studies. I think this VO has totally ignored my qualifications and certificats, which is annoying..

My gcms notes listed reasons for review at the last two pages.

You may have to have your employer to write a letter to explain the situation. Ps. Can you share you timeline?

I do not think it is gonna be a problem if you quit. After submitting the application, you can quit anytime.
