Don't worry. We are all different people, with different background, moreover - different offices are processing our applications with different speed. There is nothing wrong with your application, it just takes time to process it. ;)

It's ok, the targeted processing time is 12 months. Anything within it is normal. Nothing to worry about. You will hear from CIC soon.

The biggest challenge will be attending test/interview and Oath ceremony if you are going to work abroad. You will need to fly in every time. Also I would postpone the moving until I got AOR for my app. I haven't heard about any other negatives, there are plenty situations like this on the forum.

@21685 You can choose the day but the form will have the date in YYYY-MM format and it will be printed like that.

It's probably cost a lot of money to update this book and poor CIC can't afford it. :D

I would advise to notify CIC about your divorce (if it's finalized already). CIC says: While we process your application, contact us if any information on your application changes. It would probably not delay your application, but be on the safe side - notify CIC.
