i applied for MSC Pharmacy and got rejected as i was unable to secure an advisor it was thesis based prog. I applied on 1 octt and got rejected on 30th oct

i applied on 1 oct and its been 2 months I have received any email and status displays COMPLETE READY FOR REVIEW. I applied for MPH prog for 2019 sept. Does this mean I ll be refused ?

People mostly prefer applying under SDS category but my friend is worried as he scored 6.5 overall but 5.5 in writing . He appeared second time and same result . Consultant have asked him to apply under general category. How is the success rate?
