Just a quick update. I talked to CIC today.My background check is completed last week and my file is back to Scaroborough from st clair and waiting for test schedule. I am hoping this is not very long. the background check took 6 weeks to be completed

Hi Janoo, I told you that we are in the same boat. I am pretty sure they started your back Ground check on March 20 like me as they Send it as group. It usually takes 4-6 weeks We will receive response in the next 2-3 weeks Do not waste your time by calling them. Just wait for 2-3 weeks...

I talked to CIC today.she told me that they have send my RCM and back ground check On March 20 as it was expired.she said this is a very good sign and they will schedule me for test when they receive the clearances. This is a good news for Janoo as well as I am sure we have same timeline.

The best way is to send an inquiry through their website. They usually respond in 3-4 weeks. In my case they said my application is waiting for test As of November 21
