    Yes, same day. For us, Ecas showed DM first, a few hours later GC key showed Background check is in progress.

    Hey guys...I checked my cic status today and it was decision made but I didn't receive any updates regarding background check. Also,my gc key shows that background check has not started yet. Is this normal to get dm before bgc??

    Just checked my Ecas and it shows Decision Made for both applicant and sponsor. But gc key is still doesn't have background check in process. 11th May applicant. :)

    hmm... real wait begins now...ndvo goes on sleeping mode after they receive the file..lol..but yes going by the current trend I would say btw 7 to 10 months or if u r lucky then 6 months..goodluck to u :)
