our BG changed to IP2 on 29th May but no update ever since. Is there a way we can call and check the status with NDVO? They do not generally reply to email querries is what I know. This wait is driving me crazy. It has been about 10 days after "we are processing your background check" status.

Is there a way we can call and ask NDVO for the status of our application? Has anyone tried and got lucky? If yes, please share the number.

Hi Legalfalcon, Do you know at what stage the application is transferred to Local VO and generally what is pending after that? I can see that people are getting PPR within 2 days after the file is transferred to local VO to the ones waiting for more than a month. Any insight here?

Yes it changed into IP2 on 29th May. It has been a week today..

Ours too is same deadline... I hope with extensive travel, BGIP2 will not take more than a month. So we should expect it anytime between 15th June to 15th July.

Don't worry, your nomination is very much valid no matter how much time it takes to process this application. However. if God forbid this application is rejected, you will not be able to use the nomination points for refilling the new application. Hope this helps.

That's not true, people are waiting for a month after IP2..

I got a reply from NDVO that my file is being processed there and awaiting officer review when I dropped an email to cic email ID.

U can see the details in my signature. AOR is 16th Jan, PNP outland, OINP nominated. 4 applicants in total.

We do not get any emails for status changes unless its a final decision.

Now this is scary... For us it has changed just 2 days ago and file is at NDVO but I see for most of the people it has been from 15 days to 1 month.. You should write to cic.. probably they have just missed to trigger the PPR mail which is so frustrating.. Congrats anyways.. Atleast you know that the application is approved :)
