Landed in May 2018 - experience so far

Thanks a lot for this post, sometimes the "bad experiences" are overwhelming and even if we don't know specifics (basically, that there are a lot of lazy people or with a lot of misconceptions) sometimes it is a setback or another reason to worry besides the fact we will be moving to a foreign...

In the case of the IELTS, they ask you for some kind of code unique to your test results when you are filling the application, I'm assuming it's something similar with the celpip. They don't actually ask for the scan of the paper itself (I think I might have seen a couple ADR asking for it...

Not sure if you are asking for updating passport info or just CSE in general. Regarding the passport, I have read people have raised a CSE and when they get the PPR, they send both passports just in case, the expired one so they can check the info in your application and the new one so they can...

Don't worry too much :) even if it shows review required you got all your facts straight up. Review required is, well, review required :p it's not "please check this applicant because she's 98% rejected and looks like she poses some kind of danger to us" hahaha you will be fine, after the senior...

I honestly doubt they would based only on that. Maybe the "review required" is there so the senior officer does double check times, permits and all that stuff.

I'm taking a wild guess based on the note without any info regarding your case but it seems like your dependent, listed as not accomanying, is already in Canada by other means but not as a permanent resident so maybe they think he/she is going to stay illegally with you after you move?

Don't know about him but in some cases life is not as enjoyable as you could expect :( hence why we are disposed for immigration. Of course that's not referencing every case but it happens, although I have to say the support in this thread has been amazing and it's great to see dream by dream...

Same boat here, AOR June 9, IP1/MEP June 22 but as someone else mentioned, most PPRs from June are either PNP, CEC, inland or US residents. Seems like the waiting game will keep going for us a bit more.

    IELTS maximum score

If you really need a CLB10 you might put yourself on a rough spot as it is not easy to deal with the pressure of having to achieve a high score to stand a chance at the express entry pool, however it is not impossible (at least I managed to do it), but sadly I feel there is a bit of luck...

    IELTS maximum score

It goes up to CLB 12 actually but I believe you get maximum points from CLB 10 or above. If you want to see the maximum points on each category as well as every breakdown, check this link. Also if you want to check the CLB equivalency, use this one. :) Hope it helps.

Yeah most, if not all the ones that have gotten the PPR from June are either inland or outland from USA but other than that, still on the waiting game.
