Denied AFTER the test? Missing days in residence

The CIC Staff manual regarding Residence is a public document viewable as a PDF file (called CP5 Residence). Please see the link below to see the manual: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/cp/cp05-eng.pdf Here's an excerpt from the CP5 manual providing specific guidelines that CIC...

    CBSA request for entries/exits records

Most commonly, the issue with passports is the lack of stamps upon returning to Canada. An exception is if you are a US citizen, in which case, when you travel to the US, then your EXIT from Canada is not stamped either. I'm assuming your arrivals in other countries outside Canada have...

EXPIRED LANGUAGE TEST RESULTS FOR CITIZENSHIP APPLICATION

I did have a personal copy of the original. IELTS provides you with an official copy to CIC for immigration purposes (if you inform them when taking the test). http://www.ielts.org/test_takers_information/test_takers_faqs/test_results.aspx On the other hand, based on my recent test/interview...

    CBSA request for entries/exits records

I think I read 30 days processing in the CBSA website but I also read folks in this discussion receiving them muck later (up to 2 months). It's probably not a bad idea if you request you CBSA travel history yourself, even before you file your application (if you still haven't). This way you'll...

"Notice to Prepare for your Citizenship Exam"?

They give you a chance to retake the exam. But it's relatively easy. Just make an effort to read and reread the booklet. Do some online practice tests (plenty out there) and restudy your weak points (questions you failed to answer correctly). Honestly, the actual test is relatively easy, in...

    ADVICE FOR FUTURE APPLICANT

On the contrary, stamped pages are considered better proof. In a manual for CIC staff (see the link below) for assessing residency, they even require ALL passport pages (even blank ones) as proof for residency claims in doubt (probably to allay suspicion that some travels are not reported)...

    ADVICE FOR FUTURE APPLICANT

You can request your CBSA border crossing history online: http://www.cbsa-asfc.gc.ca/agency-agence/reports-rapports/pia-efvp/atip-aiprp/req-dem-priv-eng.html You need to select under the "PRIVACY ACT" And for the government agency option, choose "CBSA" (note: not CIC!!!) You'll need to send a...

TEST TO OATH TIMELINE (CBSA CHECK NEEDED)? Misssissauga CIC

Hi Wayne_vega, I called the Call Centre today inquiring about my application status. All he has on my file is: (1) I passed the test (2) Awaiting scheduling for oath I asked specifically if there are more notices on my file but apparently there's none. He concluded by saying that I should expect...

    March Test takers

You don't just pick your CIC office. Applications are handled first by the Case Processing Centre in Sydney, NS. Where your application gets processed for further review is not your call and is dependent on both your area and the specifics of your case (routine or not)

TAKE AN ONLINE PRACTICE TEST LIKE THIS: http://www.apnatoronto.com/canadian-citizenship-test-practice/ If you ace those online tests you'll likely find the actual test relatively easy.

TEST TO OATH TIMELINE (CBSA CHECK NEEDED)? Misssissauga CIC

Hi Wayne, I believe I've seen a few applicants handed out RQ forms during the pre-test interview in Mississauga when I took my exam on 10 March. They were however allowed to take the test just like the rest of us.
