Heather, my did second medical at the request of the Manila VO. To answer your question, no the expiry date of the medical is one year wheather it is first or second. But since you do not plan to stay there until next November, this is not an issue for you. My advice is to get out of there as...

I would tell her to get the passport photos done in Vietnam. I remember when I was in the Philippines with my wife, there were photo places in every mall and they were not high quality paper. So why take any chance to delay the PR when it is easy to get passport photos done in Vietnam on...

Personally I prefer aisle seat so that I don't feel like I'm bothering someone everything I need to go to the toilet. And since she is pregnant and may need to go more often, it may be better for her to sit aisle seat. Another note; you can google the seat diagram of all the major airplane...

I strogly agree with Awesomeg and TeamGO. If you want the petition to go anywhere, it has to be professional and respectful. It cannot be done with anger and emotions. Don't think about just yourself, think about all the people it can help in the future.

BIG CONGRATS!! This is certainly much faster than when my friend went through the Singapore VO. I wonder if they would speed it up and give the passport back sooner than 5-8 weeks if they knew your wife is pregnant.

LOL....that made me laugh. I ordered the notes just once two months ago and I received it in my email exactly 30 days after I mailed it to them. I think they just try to discourage people from ordering the notes frquently, that is why they delay it for 30 days.

Well, in that "generic email", they told you that they have up to 28 days to reply to your original email. So, unless 28 days has passed, no sense in sending repeat emails. Can I ask if you are married? The reason I'm asking is that I noticed some folks who applied under the "conjugal" take...
