Hello I recently submitted my Spouse Sponsorship application and I was wondering if my spouse could apply for a visitor visa while the spouse sponsorship application is being processed or not?

My application was received at CPC Mississauga on Feb.10th 2016 it was signed by Falek in the mailroom. Today is just the 15th and it feels like forever...the waiting game is tougher than I thought!
