It doesn't really matter much guys. There are people who have got PPR on the same day they've got Background check - in progress. It's just a matter of the officer updating your application. Where are you supposed to see this "Ecas - In Process"? On my CIC application I don't have anything regarding Ecas under "where is this application" column. Only things re Medicals, interview, background check etc.
