How long since your other stages passed and security not started? My AOR is September with all other stages passed 2 months back but security has not started. I guess I too have to wait as long as you.

I am an inland applicant with all stages not yet passed. More than 8 months and still no decision from IRCC. I know a handful of you here who had same situation till last to last week. Did any of your status change over this week?

I am also CEC inland with 1 dependent and same status as yours. Last update was on April 25th when eligibility was conclusively passed but security not started. Please let me know if your status changes.

In similar situation..My background check is in processing for a long time (security not started). When did you last call IRCC to get an update?

Did any of your security take long time to start even after other steps were passed? My security has not started despite the profile passing eligibility and other steps more than a week back. AOR is 23 Sep. Wonder if someone else is in the same boat...

Not sure if the current immigration status plays any role on the decision. Has your WP/VR expired and you are on implied status?

I called them at around 8:30 am. An agent attended the call after 16 mins wait time. Did not opt for call back.

This makes me slightly concerned that the fate will be decided by a CBSA officer even though we have no criminal or foul play record in any countries. Would you suggest that I proceed with my PR application after she comes to Canada?

Thanks a lot for your reply. One follow up question. She is also planning to come to Canada in October on her travel visa (multiple entry visa - she has already got the visa but unable to travel due to lockdown scenario). During that time, our PR application might be in progress. Will that cause...
