Hi I sent inland common law application in on June 28. AOR on Aug 3. Request for schedule A same day and submitted within 5 days after linking account as per email. Still waiting on OWP which was sent at same time. Hoping it's less than the stated 4 month timeframe. Good luck!

I just called CIC...18882422100 and they told me what I was doing wrong...

Happened several times to me too. My mistake was not using capital letters like I did on my application. You can try that and as well I needed to put 3 people as my spouse has an unaccompanying child.

It does not produce bar codes. Says validated and you save to computer and upload.

Oh wow...what if he renews passport before receiving OWP? Or is the owp expiry only based on the date on his curent passport ?

My spouse has applied for an OWP but his passport expires in January...do we need to renew the owp his passport expires ?

For those still trying to link account, I just spoke with an agent at CIC. She gave some good pointers. Since I the details in my application in capital letters, I need to do that here as well. So if you typed your spouses name in capitals then try that. As well, I was told to put down 3 people...

Just received AOR for my spouse yesterday...application was received on June 30th 2017. Having trouble as well linking application. Used my 5 tries yesterday and will try again today.
