You will be loosing time. There is no harm in applying under Express Entry while your other application is pending.

Looks like currently CIC is only looking at the applications pertaining to Manager's NOC codes (Food Manager, Service Manager, Farm Manager etc.). All the applications I have seen movement are from one of these categories. Any thoughts?

I never thought we can login to ECAS link. I thought that's an online tool to get the status of your application using UCI/App numbers. Am I missing something?

You might already know but just in case. You will not get an email for AOR. You have to click a link in the message to download it. It was tricky for me at first.

Looking at the spreadsheet I am guessing they are not touching the application until they receive the Medical results from their Medical Panel.
