Wow.. I heard something similar being told by the CIC agent to us as well.. but nothing in writing.. At least in your case they have requested some docs.. we are on status quo since end August.. Lets keep our fingers crossed and wait with a hope for the best

We are FSWO and visa office is Ottawa.. I understand what you are going through.. we got the RPRF request on the 18th of July.. and BCG went into In Progress by August End.. Its been a long Journey since then with virtually no update or movement till Mid Nov where the ADR changed and stayed that...

We can only be patient, keep our fingers crossed, follow up and pray.. Hope we all get the PPRs this month

Check which Visa office your application is in.. also keep writing to them .. Someone on this forum mentioned that they wrote to NDVO and got their PPR

Check with the LVO..All the best atleast now you know where to follow up

Sometimes the agents are cooperative else they also do not disclose too much information.. I ordered GCMS lasst week.. lets see what it says..hopefully I get a decision before that

I have not heard of anything like this yet.. Your GCMS should show where things are stuck.. also try calling CIC call center or if you have applied directly write to the Canadian visa office and see what they say..
