Yes Aramex told us also that we will have to pick it up from Aramex, they wont deliver, but how any one would go and pick up without any confirmation while on phone they always tell you nothing received. you can use any other courier, if you are in UAE you can submit in person too, however ADVO uses Aramex services to return passports. Therefore, its better to use Aramex.

This is normal as Delhi is the responsible Regional Medical Office (RMO) for this region, since your X-ray will be through e-medical the designated medical practitioner will be responsible to send it to RMO.

Nothing at all, once you are issued visa, you are good to land. I sponsored my family, and they were not asked any questions about cancellation or exit either for the applicant or the sponsor.

Your medical not expired yet, but will be expired by the time you get your visa issued, (after PPR and submission of passport from your end). They want to give you enough validity visa (about a year) so that you have time to give landing.

in our case they asked for the sponor's visa cancellation not the applicant's. letting visa expire on its own is not a good idea if you intent to return to UAE at any point of time. Further it may create problems for the Sponor of your UAE visa in the future.

This is Crazy. They should not take longer than the mentioned 10 working days time. People quit their jobs, Cancel their visas, make temporary arrangement for accommodation and still live in an uncertain condition if they are really going to get visa or not. too frustrating.

Congratulations ZZW. I was also asked to cancel my UAE visa being sponsor of my family. I cancelled the visa and sent copy of UAE residence visa after cancellation stamp.

Thats frustrating... 10 working days plus 1-3 days for mailing, all over now

Do you have any record of your immigration to Canada?

He should carry Confirmation of Permanent residence, of course along with passport.

Applying for a TRV does not affect your immigration application processing. However, chances for issuance of TRV are very less, when spouse of the applicant is a citizen or permanent resident of Canada.
