    you can use any other courier, if you are in UAE you can submit in person too, however ADVO uses Aramex services to return passports. Therefore, its better to use Aramex.

    Nothing at all, once you are issued visa, you are good to land. I sponsored my family, and they were not asked any questions about cancellation or exit either for the applicant or the sponsor.

    Your medical not expired yet, but will be expired by the time you get your visa issued, (after PPR and submission of passport from your end). They want to give you enough validity visa (about a year) so that you have time to give landing.

    in our case they asked for the sponor's visa cancellation not the applicant's. letting visa expire on its own is not a good idea if you intent to return to UAE at any point of time. Further it may create problems for the Sponor of your UAE visa in the future.

    This is Crazy. They should not take longer than the mentioned 10 working days time. People quit their jobs, Cancel their visas, make temporary arrangement for accommodation and still live in an uncertain condition if they are really going to get visa or not. too frustrating.
