That is true ! I contacted CIC regarding the new info update. The answer I got was that once you send any email with new information for example in my case change in email address. They will only PRINT the email page and place it together with your file in their VO. They will not update anything...

Looks like we won't hear back until June...

Question for all... Can the sponsor enter his/her name on ECAS to find any comments updated on the file or is does it have to be the applicant's information? "For example you sponsored so and so on this date, file was received this date " etc..

4 more days will be my applicant's 1 year anniversary since CIC has received his application. As I previously mentioned, his email address that was included in his PR application was hacked. He emailed his VO in Amman to update the new email address (email was sent on the 8th-2 weeks ago) still...

All we can do is be patient and keep waiting...we were told to expect longer wait times. What happens yesterday may not happen tomorrow so we shouldn't assume anything just hope for the best !
