Submitted paper based Visitor Visa for Spouse and Kids in New Delhi Submitted to VFS - 15 Feb 2019 Ack letter from Delhi VO - 18 Feb 2019 Since then its showing "processing background check". It has been more than 4 weeks now. Anyone faced such situation before?

@Bryanna I am on WP in Canada and filed paper based visitor visa for wife and kids in New Delhi, India on February 15 2019. Till date IRCC shows processing background check. The normal processing time on their website for this case is 15 days. What may be the cause of such delay? Please advise.

@gauravsharma11210 -I am in Canada on ICT and wife/kids in India, and want to apply for wife SOWP. She does not have any work experience. Do you suggest TRV or SOWP?

Cap reached. I recd my app back. my app date was 29/12.

The letter does not specify when 25000 filled but it must be on early 29th or before. My app was recd at 9.36 AM on 29th Dec.

i also received my 2172 app back yesterday with same reasoning as mentioned above. The app was recd at CIC on Dec 29

I applied to 2172 and app received on 29 Dec 2014. I sent the application from USA. I received the package back yesterday along with a letter of explanation from CIC stating that app is being returned because it reached after 25000 completed applications. Letter is dated March 4, 2015. EE...

My app reached on 29 Dec for 2172 and same day i sent an updated form which was received on 31 Dec. on 31 Dec i sent a CSE if they can update my form in old package with the one in new package. Today i received reply from CIC that form has been replaced in old package. No mention of return yet...

UCI is generated even if the app is returned due to any reason. So lets just wait couple of more weeks to see what happens.

My CC was charged Monday and they said check after 2 weeks. Its normal.
