they do accept emails with attachment .. I sent my rprf receipt to them via email and got the acknowledgement in 3 days

yeah inshALLAH ..When was your file transfered ? The same thing happened with me .. For the first 8 months i used to get the reply that the file is in que for initial review .. in the 9 th month i got an email saying you file is in que for review after this i got a letter requesting imm forms re...

Yah but after issuance of visa your wife will have to leave before the second medical expires or the passport expires - which ever is earlier
