Trust 'website' - unless they say, the police clearance criteria for express entry and PGP are different - which doesn't make sense.

Ok. Strange in my case, they are silent on sponsorship approval/decision. But documents are forwarded to the visa office for medical tests, and have asked us to submit police clearance & RPRF fee (in my case it would be sending the RPRF receipt).
