Same thing happened to me. Yesterday my status bar was 55% , 8 months left , 9april 2021 application completion date but now 52%, 9 month left and 9 may 2021 application completion date Show. Why all this process extended and reduce status bar %?

On 22nd July I got New Passport(renewal) receiving confirmation email from IRCC on 22nd July2020. Now current application status is 53%. Waiting for Medical request...

Hi guys Yesterday I had received my passport (renewal), and I informed to IRCC about it by sending scan copy through web form. Now I am waiting for positive update(i.e.medical request) regarding my application. Please share your experiences regarding this matter.

Hi guys My AOR is 16/01/2020(outland) waiting for MR (status bar at 45%). My passport will expire on 06/02/2021. If I apply for renewal of passport right now will cic take more time to send Medical request to me or second option if can i apply for renewal of passport after medical is done...

Now current application status is 44% in GC key, still waiting for medical request...

Biometric was done on 18/01/2020.

I am also little bit confused about receiving pre arrival service letter by CIC. My biometric was already done on 18/01/2020 after AOR. Can you share your time line.

Yes you can pay biometric fee in advance along your application fee , it save your processing time. Whenever u get your AOR email ,CIC will also send another email regarding biometric instructions. It is simple so u don't worry.

U have to wait at least 3months for AOR. It is minimum time period of issuing AOR email by CIC. Observed by me through other's application time line. In my case it's happened too.
