Hi.. if LVO is doing eligibility and background check then it may take longer.. eligibility is the most critical part of the process where they investigate about genuineness of the marriage

Think also the hard part too. After file transfer LVO will do things as per their own way...

This is a sin and injustice. I am speechless.. Any time frame they provided within that they will finish the process. As you have already provided information and pictures of your second travel. Do you need to travel again ?

How come they spent so much time in doing background check? Are you citizen or PR?

Did you sponsor your wife? Scary why the back ground check would take that long.. Have you tried to contact the MP of your area to inquire further? Did they ask for any additional document?

Another 4 months as per CIC. All depends how fast they are planning to wrap up the whole process.
