I sent mine since Nov 13th, got counterfoil update on Dec 23rd, and till now VFS has not contacted me . I’m confused here . Besides their customer care number hardly goes. I keep trying but never goes through :(

Unfortunately one can’t do anything to expedite the delivery of the passports. We just have to exercise extra patience. They do it at their own snail speed. Just got one email with tracking number when I submitted on Nov 13th. Since then nothing from VFS. My counterfoil update was 23rd Dec.

I would assume that your date of medical expiry would be 13th Nov since you passed the initial Medicals in January. However I have the same assumption that counterfoil expiry date is when Medicals will expire too. My CIC account doesn’t show any new update on Medicals asides the initial Medicals...

Sorry if I may ask, how did you get your medical extension ? Was it updated on your profile or by email. I just found out that date of expiry on the counterfoil is not when Medicals is expiring. :D

I submitted on the 13th of November. Still haven’t received my passport. But what does the counterfoil imply ? Does one receive a counterfoil via email ? or must one receive it for passports to be sent?

I think we need to exercise some patience. I submitted on 13th Nov, VFS Lagos acknowledged and sent to Accra on 17th Nov. No email or communication whatsoever since then. I read on another forum how someone sent passport to Ottawa and it’s been 5 weeks till date and no update from the visa...

When I got my passports request letter in mid November, an additional letter was included which was a letter of approval stating that a copr has been issued and a PRV counterfoil. Since i submitted passports, there has been no updates on any counterfoil

Now that 249,000 doses of vaccines will be issued to Canada this December, I’m just wondering what that could mean regarding travel restrictions, processing times of all applications etc .

But will immigration officers really turn anyone back to where he came from because he has no AL ? Even with copr? I’m just wondering . Maybe they need to be this sudden travel by copr holders and let’s see if they will turn hundreds of copr back.
