you got AOR and you should apply extend work permit online or paper, then just wait the new work permit come back don't need come to border. your work permit expired or not right now?

JULY will be a lot of international student work permit expires (include me) and AINP issue certificates each month about 150 for all category .. . . . guess they are setting there say bye bye with smile to us :D ! waiting 2 years with nothing back not just a refuse letter or something ...
