I gave them my application no., UCI, Name, DOB and I think that's it.

Fazeel, I sent them an email about 2 weeks ago and today they replied that they cannot find my record. It is quite upsetting and they have asked me to send my passport number for further inquiry. Let's see what happens.

Pta nai Why can't it be more like the US student visa process. I mean swrioualy take an interview amd be done with it.

I saw it on a CHC website of India I guess. The Visa officers included a variety of people from different nationalities. Plus it does make sense for them to be on holidays even if they are Canadians. Everyone needs a break.

It is really weird. I thought my case was pretty straight forward. I had a more than decent scholarship Alhamdulillah. I am only 18 years old, going for Engineering right after A levels, and did upfront medical. The defer letter won't really do for me because I will be losing my scholarship...

Applied on 18th June online with an upfront medical. Gave biometrics on the 25th, and haven't heard from CIC since then.

Let's just hope for the best. I will wait for a reply till the 7th of August and then I guess I will be paying my NUST fee if I haven't heard from CIC by then.

Did you apply online? I seriously am starting to wonder if applying online was a folly on my part. It has been over 40 days in my case and no reply as yet.

I cannot say anything on behalf of the consultants. Most of them have little knowledge in the matter anyway. My Uncle and a friend of his both went to UBC showing loan letters. However, it was not the only thing they showed. Both had affidavit of support written from their brother and father...

Loans are fine. My uncle got his visa by that route. And to show your relatiob your aunt can write an affidavid of support where she declares your relationship with you and pledges to finacially back you during your stay in Canada. I would suggest you include both these in your application.

Baat tou ye bhi sahi hai. Lekin MS ke liye phir I most probably would have to pay the fees abhi I have a full fee scholarship. Accommodation and Food bhi covered hai.
