Totally agree! Don’t get discouraged.. if I were you i would keep calling and ask to escalate . Some people will tell you to patiently wait.. but it’s a passive attitude that did not work for me. So if you can/ want, submit a webform and call until you find a decent agent who will escalate...

I would backdate it but also I absolutely encourage you to call and submit a webform.. just to cover all angles. You can get their input and be 100% sure on how to address the situation

Also.. i just checked and when you login it does give you an option to update your address.

Maybe submit a webform to notify them of this error and have it corrected? They may have pulled up the data from your PR application.. when I called them a few weeks ago (before aor) they asked me to clarify my address as they had a few old ones on file

I don’t think you will get an email notification but I could be wrong. Just go the site below and then enter the required info to log in https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/authenticate.do

It doesn’t match for me. Just literally take the number provided in your AOR as it’s there and it’s called application number.. mine starts like that C00....

You have several ways either using your uci number, in which case you would select the correct identification type (client id/ uci) or you can use your applicant number provided in your AOR, in which case you would need to select applicant number for identification type

Yea, noticed that in other forums as well.. That’s why the numbers on the spreadsheet are not fully reliable. I think they should give admin access to multiple persons (it’s a time consuming job, so one person is not enough!)
