Depends on the office.. the fewer applications they receive the faster. Let's just say several people who applied in july 2013 ( same as me) got their PR from paris by january. Problem with CPP ottawa is that there are many people backlogged for quebec.

All provinces have separate visa officers dedicated to them. It's sort of a luck of the draw depending on the amount of applications they get in.

Btw you have to get temporary health insurance, because provincial insurance only covers you 90 days from the time you apply for it.

I don't know why people are emailing regarding their status.. It says clearly do not email them for that. It is not going to go any faster. The people replying are not immigration agents and they have no say in your file.
