I think that you can make an arrangement with the insurance company that you can cancel the insurance / get refund once the PR card/ medical card is issued

No movement for my case since Feb (CPC-M). We completed Medical on Feb 20th and submitted PCC/Landing fee/ Resume / Additional forms in March first week.

I am sorry, I misunderstood. I applied for Ontario Photo identity card (and not OHIP). I understand that Ontario Identity card is considered as an address proof and visitors can apply for it.

You can find this information in the letter which the sponsor receives asking for PCC, biometric, RPRF, etc.

I submitted all the documents (PCC, Resume, Travel history) near March 7th. Medical was completed on Feb 19th. The system is showing that Medical is under review and there is no other update

Congrats Mostafa. I was under the impression that IRCC is working on cases where the PPR was made before March 18th. Good to know that things are moving (although very slowly). We still need to see progress on June 2019 applicants
