I received the first stage approval for a complete application

If my assumption that you made your application in Istanbul is correct, VAC Istanbul is open and might explain why you got an AIP

    Visa for September 2020.

For some weird reason, I seem to be getting increasingly confident that the delays are a good indicator that our applications have progressed successfully past the eligibility stage and simply waiting for VACs to issue the damn approval correspondence letters, I mean, how else could you explain...

Let’s debate my study permit delays logic

Hi Everyone, I’m of the view that delays in obtaining a final decision on your application could be a very good indicator that your application has passed the eligibility stage. With VAC offices closed across the globe, IRCC is unable to send correspondence letters as these have to be routed...

!! New IRCC webinar about changes in study permit processing is now announced

I think It’s most unfair of IRCC to make promises of study permit applications being prioritized, yet leave applicants in the dark for such painfully long periods, why promise what you are not set to deliver? And speaking of the two stage approval, how are students supposed to focus with so much...
