Among those people there were many Aug sep and oct applicants as well. All from Iran. I don't know what happened but that time many got their final approval I know at least 10 applicants. Hopefully some happens to us. But I'm worried that the second wave would ruin everything again

That is for the VAC not the visa office. But definitely their attitude in replying to your inquiry is rude.

My opinion is that to go Canada by your current visa and send it back for issuing the PR visa. I know that issuing the PR visa would take some time (up to 2 or 3 months) so at least you'll be with your family during this time.

Congrats What is your time line? Did you receive passport request? We are Nov applicant but still in application received situation.

It's happening in 8 different cities as far as I know. Vancouver, Edmonton, Toronto, and Montreal are the ones that I'm sure.
