    Pre-PR Credit Time

This create extra confusion as nobody has clear answer to this as no clear guidelines how this law will be worded. Not yet sure I will have any benefit if pre-pr time as this way i lost 2012 and will be loosing 2013 eventully to complete 6months from 2012. Seems like catch up gain but then again...

    Pre-PR Credit Time

Seems we need to discuss, how the Pre--PR credit time is counted. As i came to Canada in 2009 and recieved PR on 2014. Would it be possible for me to take credit of 2012,2013 stay as 1 year. If CIC looks back into past 5years from application, then I have already lost 2012 from Pre- Credit...

I want to take credit of my previous stay of 2012, 2013 and 2 months of 2014. But as they say 3 years in past 5 year. Does one loose credit of...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

Now I am confused, some say you can take credit of pre-PR time even after 10 years. So, does that mean if person stayed on student or work visa for 2yrs and then left after PR application. Recieved PR after 2 years, came back and now completing 2 yrs under C-6 wont be able get Pre-PR credit.

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

So, it means even I apply my application in 2019 after completing my 2 years post -PR. I could still count 1 yr from 2012 as pre-credit and it stays stationary. This is big relief, last but not least I read on some posts for amendment of pre-PR credit time to increase from 2 or 3 years is it...

    Bill C-6: Senate stage

So, it means as the bill C-6 gets delayed, you would eventually loose your pre- PR credit time. As i was thinking that i could count my pre-PR one year from 2012 but still needs to complete 61 days post PR 2 years. But, if pre-PR time needs to be in past 5yrs from the date you made application...
